Rules

NFFP will follow the current USSSA Fastpitch rule book unless listed below.

All players, coaches, and spectators must exhibit good sportsmanship at all times.

Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate removal from the facility.

The Tournament Director will make the final decision on any disputed calls if needed.

Absolutely no alcohol or tobacco allowed inside the tournament facility.

All teams must wear matching or similar looking uniforms unless otherwise noted. 

NFFP is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items during a tournament.

The registration and team fee must be filled out correctly and paid before your team will be able to take the field.

All rosters must be submitted on or before the designated date for each tournament on the NFFP website. MUST include full names, numbers, and date of birth. 

Age requirements will follow USSSA rules for all divisions.

Once a team is confirmed and paid, no refunds will be given within 3 days of tournament start date. Unless the tournament is canceled by NFFP.

Umpires will be paid at the plate prior to the start of each game $60 per umpire.

Team fees $175 for all divisions.

Gate fee is $10 (12 years of age or older).

If the tournament is canceled prior to the scheduled start, a full refund or credit will be given for the next scheduled tournament date.

No matter the format of the tournament, if three games are completed by all teams the tournament will be considered complete. Champions and Finalists will be determined based on the standings of the completed pool play games. If one or more bracket play games have been completed it will be based on the remaining teams pool play standings.

If less than three games are completed the team fee will be refunded based on how many games your team has completed.

If weather suspends play of a game it will be considered completed and final only if you have finished at least 3 innings and the director determines teams can no longer safely resume play. (If more than 3 innings have been completed it will revert back to the last fully completed inning)

All tournaments will be 3 pool games into single elimination, unless otherwise noted. (If less than 4 teams are registered for your division it will be 2 pool games into double elimination)

Home and away will be determined by a coin flip at the plate, for all pool play games. 

All pool play schedules will be set before the start of the tournament, please check the website for your teams schedule.

Please have your team ready to take the field at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. 

Bracket play will have a scheduled start time, but may be adjusted as a result of pool play.

All pool play will be 60 minute games  /  75 minute bracket games

Run Rules are as follows 12 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings, and 8 runs after 5 innings. 

8u will allow 10 players on the field (4 outfielders) and follow the 6 runs per ½ inning rule.

The 8u pitching coach must touch the pitching rubber at 35’ or will be considered an illegal pitch.

Pitching distances are as follows (8u/10u 35 feet) (12u 40 feet) (14u and older 43 feet)

Texas tie breakers will be used in bracket play only, pool play games can end in a tie.
